A Bit About Me

Third year, the first-ever University of Auckland Design student (the guinea pig), I am Alice. I was born in Seoul, South Korea and been living in New Zealand all my life. I love everything design, especially graphic and digital illustrations.

2020 - Present

Design | Bachelor's Degree

"Then what specific design are you learning?", you may wonder. This degree teaches the design thinking and the impacts that applies to our society. Based on the United Nations Social Development Goals, we develop our design solution considering the different, important aspects within real-life context. It gives opportunity of exploring diverse designs that exist in the world from UX/UI design to environmental designs, and allows to think of the impacts of a design outcome.

2014 - 2018

Lynfield College

Typical, quiet, 5 years of high-school life. The one time I decided to be a little 'wild' was the last year of high-school. Became a leader of Korean Cultural Club, part of Peer Support group supporting new Year 9 students etc.
