DES100 Inspirations

The design that I mainly do is character design. My drawing style has changed drastically throughout the years, so my inspirations and the designs that I like became significantly different from the past years.
Some of the designs that I currently like:
The first three illustrations are made by Shato a Korean artist and the last three are made by Bulgom also a Korean artist. They are not established in mainstream media but personally really like their simplistic style of illustration.
The first illustration is drawn by a Korean artist called Puung and the second GrimB. These two artists are one of the successful artists in which they made various collaborations with companies for advertising and published their own illustration books.
For example, GrimB made a collaboration with Netflix in creating Korean messenger emoticons. And Puung created a TV advertisement for a Korean cosmetic brand called Mediheal which can be found here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1hwWX3_WUBE

I have been updating my Pinterest mood board over the years so the style that I currently like is different from what I have saved in the past. However, sometimes I would visit the old styles that I like to develop my own style of drawing. The illustrations that I have saved in this mood board are mainly what I liked or could potentially use them as reference.

This mood board was aesthetic research I did for Design Visual Communication during high school. The main aesthetic I wanted to go for was a modern and calming aesthetic, so I had gathered a few images which included interior, furniture, and colours.
