DES200 3d model

The intention of this design is to recreate a favourite toy from childhood and create a promotional poster of it. For this design since the toy itself is very simplistic looking and the main colour is black and white, I tried to create a very minimalistic poster design and add slight colour to it using the other available colours of the Nintendo DS lite. Since I already had experience with Rhino and Photoshop which I used to create the 3d model and the poster it didn't take me long to create the final result.

Since Nintendo DS lite is a game console, the various materials inside will be very difficult to recycle. This toy was very popular amongst my age upon release as many of my friends owned this toy as well. It is considered to be one of the finest hardware introduced by Nintendo as it has sold 154.9 million units sold worldwide (Vjestica, 2021). According to the TechRadar article by Vjestica, there was also a feature that was disabled which current hackers were able to find which was playing the game on TV as well. This is the same feature as introduced on Nintendo Switch, the latest game console from Nintendo.
